If you are keen to try mindfulness and meditation and find out what they are all about, this is an easy, relaxed, absolutely no stress, beginners course. If you've heard of them, this course is based on the teachings of wonderful world renowned teachers, Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach with whom I have studied.

Compassion Cultivation Training

This wonderful 8 week course, developed by Thupten Jinpa (the Dalai Lama's English interpreter) and endorsed by the Dalai Lama, opened my heart and mind to compassion, and how this brings a kinder more loving approach to other humans and beings on this planet, as well as the planet itself. This course will equally serve those familiar with meditation as well as beginners. I am one of just a few trained CCT teachers in Australia. This is also a fabulous course for business and community leaders who wish to develop compassionate and loving organisational cultures.

At a very stressful time in my worklife, I came across MSC as an approach to finding generosity and kindness and love for myself. Not only did it aid in my dealing with stress a lot better, but enabled me to build my own self confidence and strength to face difficult situations with calm and strength. I am a fully certified trained teacher of Kristen Neff and Chris Germer's Mindful Self Compassion course.

These are weekly drop in sessions that will include soft landings and guided meditations from any of the programs. They are particularly great for those of us who find it difficult to find the time for ourselves to sit regularly.
